What about a reliable online Spanish tutor

Are you fed up with masterclasses in which the teacher only talk all the time?

Would you like to learn Spanish and make it worthwhile?

If you have answered yes to these questions is because you are still have targets to hit and you haven’t found the right online Spanish tutor who connect you.

¡Hola! My name’s Francisco, founder and an online Spanish tutor on Faro de Lenguas.

My commitment to my students have been for more than 3 years. My goal is being supportive enough to offer a good training and achieve that my learners pass DELE exams (Instituto Cervantes), get a betterment in their Spanish for specific purposes (Law, business, Medicine, tourism, and so on) or coach anyone who has already decided to learn Spanish step by step from scratch.

Why have you started Faro de Lenguas up? What is it that makes you different like an online Spanish tutor?

Everything began from a fleeting idea. And that idea was born as a result of some experiences. But, I will start from the beginning of this personal story.

I’ve lived in the autonomous community of Murcia Region, Spain. By the way, perhaps, you might not know two curious things about my region:

  • There’s a salad lake called Mar Menor.
  • Cartagena is an old Phoenician city with a Roman amphitheatre.

After my specialized master’s degree to teach Spanish as a second language and gaining more online teaching expertise, I decided to be a teacher freelance and run Faro de Lenguas.

My online Spanish school should be a project consolidated on mobile technology and the last trends about emergent learning. It would help more people around the world…

  • To cope with daily life situations in which Spanish is the communication language.
  • To give freedom to adapt schedules and study time.
  • To learn at home or with any mobile device.

I really stand up for the benefits of the new technologies applied to teaching second languages. That is mainly based on virtual communities and explore the possibilities of digital tools for an efficient cognitive learning. So, a Skype lesson is only the tip of the iceberg.

Do you know why? Because I can design a learning circuit beyond the traditional course of Spanish. Honestly, that is as if it is a game where you are the hero or heroine and you choose how to finish your adventure: podcasts, free downloaded guides, posts 100% practical, live streaming on social media, a community of learners and more chances to blow your own trumpet. You tell me what you need and I will give you the treasure map!

Do you want to speak Spanish or get an ordinary diploma from a course?

Will Smith, the famous American actor, is a good example. He always tries to speak Spanish in every TV or radio interview, even, to express that he does not remember a concrete word or expression in Spanish. His intention is making an emotional connection with the Hispanic audience. And the best thing is he does not attend a common classroom. He learns thanks to a private tutor because his goal is speaking Spanish, not getting another diploma.

I avoided that a little dog was run over by a car. Now, that dog is the owner of my sofa and its name is Afortunado (“lucky”).

My normal breakfast consists mainly of two cups of white coffee, a pair of cereal toasts with a slice of York ham and butter.

In general, I’ve got a good appetite and I begin to suspect that I have two stomachs. If you want to invite to me to have dinner, I love Italian, Mexican and Chinese cuisine.

My last trip was the way of Saint James (Galicia, Spain). If I had to choose a place to visit, I’d rather go to Ribe (Denmark) and San Francisco (the USA).
